Disclaimer: he’s on the counter because I had to put all of my Grooming Equipment in storage. The blue scissors are meant for dogs, specifically his afro (which is obviously no longer there got obvious reasons…). My phone is super sensitive to noise which is why it sounds like we are ripping his skin open when we brush him. It is a cheap slicker brush – again I currently do not have any access to my normal equipment (the scissors are the only exception). We are NOT hurting him. We were preparing him for his chiropractor appointment to help keep his spins aligned and his weight balanced due to his torn cruciate ligament.

Rear Angulation Standard Poodle Grooming

This is the way I get the rear angulation on a standard poodle. It may be wrong or not done the way everyone would do it, but it works well for me… hope it helps someone. I’m doing this on my 9 month old brown/white parti girl Taffy.
