Dog Grooming Business Owners!?
21 Aug 2010
Ok I am an aspiring Dog Grooming business owner, and I was wondering if you could answer a few questions.
1. What is the best kind of equipment? (scissors, clippers, blow driers, ect.)
2. How much did it start to get the business started?
3. Approximately how many cages should I get?
What other tips could you give me?
Thanks so much!
Start out small (low overhead) and expand as your business grows.
I don’t know all that many groomers that agree on which brand of equipment is best. That is pretty much personal opinion. You can always get better equipment later if it is a budget buster up front.
The number of cages is determined by how many dogs/day you book.
You will quickly learn that being a business owner is not an 8 to 5 job.
